Sales Channels from ShipStation

Overview

If you ship through ShipStation, Verbstack reads every store in your ShipStation account. A Reverb store adds real label costs to your Reverb orders. Any other store, such as eBay or Shopify, can become a sales channel: its orders show beside your Reverb shops on the Dashboard, Orders, Profit and Reports.

Which plans include it

Connecting ShipStation for shipping costs is on every plan. Sales channels and the store list are on Pro and Max, and in your 14-day trial. A sales channel from ShipStation never counts toward your plan's shop limit or your order band.

Connect ShipStation

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Integrations.
  2. On the ShipStation card, select Connect ShipStation and enter your ShipStation API key and secret.

Verbstack imports your whole shipping history. It keeps running in the background, and your figures fill in as shipments arrive.

Choose which stores to use

Once ShipStation is connected, your Stores appear under the ShipStation card, grouped by where their data goes:

  • Your shop's name · Reverb: stores linked to one of your Reverb shops.
  • Own Sales Channels: stores that show as channels of their own.
  • Off: stores whose data Verbstack does not use.

Each store has a switch. Turn it on to use that store's data, or off to leave it out. Your Reverb stores and other marketplaces start on. A manual store starts off, because manual orders often include reships and replacements with no sale.

Linked To

A store that is on has a Linked To menu:

  • Own Channel: its orders show as a channel in the shop switcher.
  • A Reverb shop: the store adds its label costs to that shop's matching orders. Its orders are not counted again, and it does not become a channel.

Verbstack links each store to the Reverb shop whose orders it matches, and the menu shows how many shipments match. Your own choice always stays.

Who can change stores

Only an admin can switch stores on or off, change Linked To, or connect and delete ShipStation.

Where your channels appear

Your channels join your Reverb shops in the shop switcher, and All Shops counts them, for example "2 shops · 1 channel". You can pick a channel on these pages:

  • Dashboard
  • Orders
  • Profit > Cards
  • Reports > Channels, which compares every sales channel side by side

Other pages show your Reverb shops only.

What "Not Available" means

ShipStation reports orders, items, revenue and label costs. It does not report marketplace fees, payouts, refunds, listings, categories, brands or reviews. Where a channel has no figure, Verbstack shows Not Available, never $0.00. Hover over it to see why.

When a total mixes Reverb shops and channels, profit figures cover your Reverb shops only and are labelled Reverb Shops.

Delete the connection

  1. On the ShipStation card, select Delete Connection.
  2. Choose what goes:
    • Connection Only: keeps the shipments, stores and channel orders. They stop syncing and updating, and your channels still show.
    • Connection and Data: deletes the connection and everything synced through it. Your channels no longer show, and Reverb orders go back to their Reverb label or an estimate for shipping cost.
  3. Type the connection's name to confirm, then select Delete Permanently.

Deleting data cannot be undone. Store switches and links you set are deleted with it and do not come back if you connect again.
