What is the Verbstack MCP?

It is the connection that lets an AI assistant work with your Reverb shop through Verbstack. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets an AI tool securely connect to an app. Once connected, your assistant can look up your shop data and, with your approval, take action on your behalf.

Which AI assistants work with it?

Any AI tool that supports MCP. Verified today: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. As more tools adopt MCP, your existing Verbstack connection works with them too.

What is the server URL?

Your AI tool connects to Verbstack at https://app.verbstack.com/api/mcp. In Verbstack, open Settings then Connect to AI to copy this URL, see your usage, and manage connected tools.

Can the AI change my shop without my approval?

No. The AI only makes a change when you ask it to, and it can do only what your Reverb connection allows. Keep any connection read-only and it can look things up but never change anything. You can revoke access at any time.

Is it secure?

Yes. Connections use secure tokens rather than your password, so the AI tool never sees your Verbstack or Reverb login. Every connection is scoped to your account and your shop, renews and expires on its own, and can be revoked instantly. Revoking ends the whole session, and the tool cannot quietly reconnect.

Which plans include it?

Every paid plan (Starter and above). Your 14-day trial includes full access, with a safety cap of 25 live changes per day during the trial that lifts as soon as you are on a paid plan.

How many requests can I make?

Your plan sets a monthly request allowance: 5,000 on Starter, 20,000 on Growth, 50,000 on Pro, 150,000 on Scale, and unlimited on Enterprise. You can see usage and the reset date under Settings then Connect to AI.

How do I set it up?

Connect your Reverb shop in Verbstack, add a remote MCP server in your AI tool using your server URL, and approve the connection in the browser. The Connect to AI guide has step-by-step links for each tool.
