What is the Verbstack MCP?

It is the connection that lets an AI assistant work with your Reverb shop through Verbstack. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets an AI tool securely connect to an app. Once connected, your assistant can look up your shop data and, when you ask, take action on your behalf.

Which AI assistants work with it?

Any AI tool that supports MCP. Verified today: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. As more tools adopt MCP, your existing Verbstack connection works with them too.

What is the server URL?

Your AI tool connects to Verbstack at https://app.verbstack.com/api/mcp. In Verbstack, open Settings, then Developer, then Connect to AI to copy this URL, see your usage, and manage connected tools.

Does Verbstack ask me before the AI changes my shop?

When your AI app supports it, Verbstack asks you in the app to approve each change before it runs, and records only whether you approved. Otherwise, whether the app asks you depends on the app and your settings in it. A bulk change to many listings runs only when your app can ask you. The AI can do only what your connection allows. Keep any connection read-only and it can look things up but never change anything. You can revoke access at any time.

Is it secure?

Yes. Connections use secure tokens rather than your password, so the AI tool never sees your Verbstack or Reverb login. Every connection is scoped to your account and your shop, renews and expires on its own, and can be revoked instantly. Revoking ends the whole session, and the tool cannot quietly reconnect.

Which plans include it?

Pro and Max. Your 14-day trial includes it, with up to 25 live changes to Reverb a day. The cap lifts when you choose a plan.

How many tool calls can I make?

Your plan sets a monthly allowance of tool calls: 20,000 on Pro, and 50,000 to 500,000 on Max, by order band. The trial has 20,000. See your usage under Settings, then Developer.

How do I set it up?

Connect your Reverb shop in Verbstack, add a remote MCP server in your AI tool using your server URL, and approve the connection in the browser. The Connect to AI guide has step-by-step links for each tool.
