Managing Your Subscription

Overview

Verbstack uses revenue-based pricing. Your plan tier is determined by your shop's monthly revenue. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, switch between monthly and annual billing, and manage everything through the Stripe customer portal.

Viewing your plan

Go to Settings > Billing to see:

  • Your current plan and tier
  • Subscription status (active, trialing, past due, or cancelled)
  • Next billing date and amount
  • Trial days remaining (if applicable)

Upgrading your plan

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the tier that matches your revenue level
  4. Choose monthly or annual billing (annual saves 17%)
  5. Complete checkout through Stripe

Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.

Downgrading

You can downgrade at any time. The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Features exclusive to your current tier will remain available until then.

Feature access after downgrade

When you downgrade, you'll lose access to tier-gated features at the end of your billing period. Your data is preserved. If you upgrade again later, everything will be there.

Annual vs. monthly billing

Annual billing saves 17% compared to monthly. You can switch between billing cycles under Settings > Billing > Change Plan. Switching to annual creates a new billing period starting today.

Stripe customer portal

Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe customer portal where you can:

  • Update your payment method
  • View invoice history
  • Download receipts
  • Cancel your subscription

Cancellation

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • After that, your account drops to the Free tier
  • All your data is preserved. You can resubscribe at any time to regain access
