Resume a Sync That Stopped

A large import runs in the background and continues itself. Very occasionally that chain breaks. You can start it again from where it stopped.

Who it's for

Anyone whose shop or ShipStation sync has stopped moving.

How to tell it stopped

After about 15 minutes with no progress, the button reads Resume Sync. The line below the shop name, or on the ShipStation card, says the sync stopped, when progress stopped, and "Resume it to carry on." A working sync shows its current step instead. A big shop takes hours, so a slow sync is normal, but 15 quiet minutes isn't.

Resume it

In Settings → Connections → Shop Connection (or Integrations, for ShipStation), find the row and press Resume Sync. It carries on from where it stopped and reads nothing already imported again.

Don't use Delete Connection. It doesn't fix a stuck sync, and the shop stops syncing and updating.

If it stops again, press Resume Sync once more. A Reconnect badge means Reverb no longer accepts your token. Create a new one in Reverb API Settings, press Replace Token on the shop's row, and paste it in. If neither works, email support@verbstack.com with your shop name and the time it stopped.

What "Synced With Errors" means

Some steps failed. Verbstack says so rather than reporting success, and shows the first error. The next sync covers the missed window, so nothing is skipped for good. Press Re-Sync (or Sync Now for ShipStation) to cover it now.
