Cashflow Analysis
Overview
The Cashflow tab within the P&L engine shows you when money actually moves in and out of your business. Not just when sales happen, but when you get paid and when costs hit your account.
Requires Starter plan or higher
Cashflow analysis is available on Starter, Growth, Pro, Scale, and Enterprise plans. During your 14-day trial, all features are unlocked.
What you see
Inflows
- Revenue from sales: Gross revenue from completed orders
- Reverb payouts: Actual payout amounts deposited to your bank account, including the timing of each payout
Outflows
- Reverb fees: Seller fees and payment processing deducted from payouts
- COGS: Cost of goods sold for items in the period
- Operating expenses: Business expenses you've logged
Net cashflow
A weekly trend chart showing the difference between inflows and outflows. Positive weeks mean more cash came in than went out.
Payout timing
Reverb doesn't pay out instantly. There's a delay between a sale and when the funds hit your account. The Cashflow view accounts for this timing difference, showing you:
- When sales were made vs. when payouts were received
- Pending payout amounts
- Average payout delay
This is especially useful during high-volume periods when the gap between sales revenue and available cash can be significant.
Reconciliation
Compare Verbstack's calculated payouts against your actual bank deposits. If there's a discrepancy, check:
- Whether all orders in the period have synced
- Whether any refunds or chargebacks occurred
- Whether Reverb held any payouts (common for new sellers)
